Who does VGA use as a printer?
Giclees are printed by two expert printers: DOCUMENT and Finerworks. DOCUMENT is a printing, scanning and exhibition space in Chicago’s West Loop trusted by museums and galleries for its craftsmanship. San Antonio-based FinerWorks Media is an art-centric printing technology company which specializes in fine art print production. VGA screenprints are printed by high quality Chicago-based FugScreen Studios.
What type of paper are VGA Giclees printed on?
Most VGA Giclees are printed on a thick (19-mil) heavy weight (310g) paper with the luxurious style of traditional artists' papers. It has a natural-white, matte finish with a textured watercolor feel.
Who frames VGA prints and how are they done?
Most VGA prints are available available for framing via Finerworks. Framed VGA works are printed on an inkjet enhanced matte paper and laminated. The enhanced matte is a heavyweight stock that has a high color gamut that yields remarkable color reproduction. Posters are laminated and mounted to masonite, then secured in a black wooden frame. Select works are available for framing at custom prices. If framing is not available on the artwork webpage or you wish to have your work custom framed, please contact email@example.com for details.

Are prints shipped flat or rolled?

Some exceptions may occur with international orders or if the order also contains prints which normally would be rolled. Prints that cannot be shipped flat will be shipped in a sturdy corrugated shipping tube.
